Erojoy Vibe connects to Pulse, Muse and Pebble over Bluetooth. It's free to download, and the free version does most of what's on this page: pair once, and the remote, Sound Control and a few audio stories are yours, with no trial and no fee.

Erojoy Vibe is on the App Store and Google Play. Once it's installed, open it and create your account, so your saved patterns come with you if you change phones. Then turn your device on and pair it, using the steps below.
You only pair once.
You pair your device once. After that, turn it on and open the app, and it connects on its own. Every feature below starts from there: your device on, and the app open.
Pair it once, and the app remembers it.
Everything else on this page starts here. Once your device is paired, the app connects to it each time you open it.
- Turn on Bluetooth in your phone's settings.
- Hold your device's power button for about two seconds, until the light comes on.
- Open Erojoy Vibe and tap Connect your device.
- Tap + Add a new device. The app looks for devices nearby.
- When your device's name appears, tap it. Your device vibrates once to show it's connected.
- Tap Session, and you're ready.
You'll know it worked when your device sits in the list with a green Connected beside it and its battery level underneath.
Good to know: If it doesn't appear, charge it and check that it isn't still connected to another phone, since a device pairs with one phone at a time. Then close the app fully, turn Bluetooth off and on again, and try once more.
Your phone becomes the remote.
Choose one of nine built-in patterns and set the intensity with one slider. You can change either one while it runs.
- Tap Remote in the bar at the bottom of the app.
- Choose a pattern: Wave, Ripple, Flutter, Glide, Drift, Tease, Surge, Rise or Buzz.
- Tap Start. Your device begins the pattern you chose.
- Drag the slider right for more intensity and left for less. It changes as you move it.
- Tap another pattern at any time. It switches straight away, with no need to stop first.
- Tap Pause to stop.
The nine patterns come built in, and everyone has the same ones. Patterns you build yourself can be saved to My Patterns with Premium, and they're yours alone.
Good to know: Keep your phone within Bluetooth range, which is about one room.
Let music or your voice set the rhythm.
Your device moves with whatever your phone can hear, whether that's a song or your voice. It's free on every account.
- Tap the microphone icon in the bar at the bottom of the app. That's Sound Control.
- The first time, allow microphone access when your phone asks.
- Play music, talk or hum, and your device moves with the sound.
- Tap the microphone again to turn it off.
Nothing is recorded. The microphone is on only while Sound Control is on, and the sound is used to move your device and nothing else. None of it is saved or sent anywhere.
Sound Control follows what's playing in your room. The audio stories are a library inside the app, and there your device follows the story itself.
Good to know: It can't tell your voice from the TV, so background noise moves your device too.
Press play, and your device follows the story.
Choose a story, put your headphones in and press play. Your device waits while the story builds, comes in when the scene does, and eases off as it slows. There's nothing for you to steer: you listen, and the story sets the pace. A few stories are free, and Premium opens the whole library, with new ones every month.
- On the Home screen, tap Spicy Audio.
- Browse the library and tap a story to open it.
- Tap Play. Your device waits for the right moment in the story, then follows it from there.
- To skip ahead, drag the progress bar forward.
- Tap Pause to stop.
Good to know: If your device stays still for a while, the story is still building, and nothing is wrong. Headphones make a noticeable difference.
Hand the controls to someone you trust, anywhere. ♛ Starting a session needs Premium
The person with the device starts the session. Their partner joins from their own phone and takes the controls, whether they're in the next room or another country. Starting a session needs Premium, and joining is free.
- You: open Long Distance and tap Start a Session.
- You: copy the six-digit code the app gives you and send it to your partner however you like.
- Your partner: opens Long Distance in their own Erojoy Vibe app and taps Join with code.
- Your partner: enters the six digits you sent.
- You: tap Start with Partner.
- Your partner: taps Join Session, and you're connected.
- Your partner: moves the slider to change the intensity.
- Your partner: can also turn on the microphone, so sound on their side moves your device.
- Either of you: tap End Session when you're done. It stops straight away for both of you.
Your partner sees the controls, and you see each change as it happens.
Good to know: Your partner doesn't need Premium to join, and you can end the session at any moment, whatever they're doing.
Build a rhythm of your own, and keep it. ♛ Saving needs Premium
Move the slider and the app records what you do, so you feel the pattern as you build it. Anyone can build one and try it. Premium saves it to My Patterns, ready for next time.
- Tap My Patterns.
- Tap Create New Pattern.
- Move the slider left and right. What you feel is what it records.
- Tap Save Pattern.
- Give it a name. It stays in My Patterns, ready whenever you want it.
Good to know: On a free account you can build and try as many patterns as you like. Premium is what keeps them.
Where you buy Premium is where you cancel it.
There are two ways to buy, and both give you the same Premium features at the same price. What changes is who bills you and where you cancel.

We email you a member code, and you enter it once in the app. You manage or cancel it with us.
In the app
Subscribe through the App Store on iPhone or Google Play on Android. Premium switches on straight away, and you cancel it in that store's subscription settings.

You've already paid, and switching Premium on is one step in the app. Buying on the site doesn't switch Premium on by itself. We email you a member code, and you enter it once in the app.

Control is given, never taken.
Nothing starts until the person with the device says yes. In a Long Distance session, your partner has the controls because you handed them over, and either of you can end it at any moment with End Session. The person with the device can disconnect whenever they want, without asking.

My device doesn't show up in the app
Charge it, then press and hold the button until the light comes on. Turn Bluetooth off and back on, close the app fully and reopen it. If it's still missing, it may still be connected to another phone — turn Bluetooth off on that phone and try again.

It connects, then drops out
Move your phone closer — Bluetooth range is about one room. Low battery is the next most common cause, so charge it fully and retry.

Do I need internet, or just Bluetooth?
Bluetooth for Remote, Sound Control and patterns. Internet for downloading Spicy Audio and for Long Distance, because that one connects two phones.

Sound Control isn't responding
Check that microphone permission is on in your phone settings, then tap the microphone icon again to switch it back on. If it's on and still nothing, make a louder sound — it needs something to hear.

Does Sound Control record me?
No. The microphone is only on while Sound Control is on, and what it hears is used to move your device and nothing else. None of it is recorded, saved or sent anywhere.

My device isn't following the story
First check it's still connected, with a green Connected beside its name. If it is, the story is probably still building: your device stays still through the slower parts and comes in when the scene does. To get there sooner, drag the progress bar forward.

Does my partner need to pay to join me?
No. Joining a Long Distance session and taking the controls is free. Only the person starting the session needs Premium.

I bought Premium on the site but the app still says Basic
Buying on erojoy.com doesn't switch it on automatically — you enter the member code we emailed you. Go to Settings, tap Upgrade to Premium, then Have a member code? at the bottom, and paste it there. If the code won't take, send it to us and we'll switch Premium on for you.

How do I cancel Premium?
Cancel it where you bought it. If you subscribed in the app, cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, since we can't cancel those for you. If you bought on erojoy.com, cancel it on the Manage subscriptions page, or email support@erojoy.com and we'll do it for you.

Who can see my activity?
Nobody. We don't keep a list of the stories you played or when you used your device, and a Long Distance session is limited to the two people in it. The privacy section above has the full list of what we store.

How do I check my device's battery?
Open the app with your device connected. The battery level shows on the connected device screen, right under the device name.
